Group N Garage is proud to show off the newest product to the Honda community with a Dry Carbon Coil Pack made by 9G Composite. Second Batch will be available end of January 2025, reason of group sale for the first 20 units ordered.

9G Composite are made to order, with a typical lead time of 4 weeks to ship, reason of bulk order.

9GC offers strong, lightweight material made from thin fibers composed primarily of carbon atoms. These fibers are typically about 5-10 micrometers in diameter and are combined with a resin (often epoxy) to form a composite material. Carbon fiber is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, exceptional stiffness, and resistance to corrosion, making it highly desirable for applications in aerospace, automotive, sports equipment, and construction.

The process of creating carbon fiber involves heating precursor fibers (often made from polyacrylonitrile, or PAN) in a controlled environment to remove non-carbon elements, leaving behind tightly bonded carbon atoms that form long, thin chains. The resulting material is very strong, yet lightweight, and can be molded into various shapes when combined with a resin matrix.

Key characteristics of carbon fiber include:

• High thermal conductivity
• Corrosion resistance

Because of these properties, carbon fiber is often used in situations where performance and durability are critical. Carbon fiber composites can have imperfections and may be susceptible to defects during manufacturing or use.
