aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System 2017 Honda Civic Type R L4-2.0L

The Takeda Momentum Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System for the FK8 Civic Type R outflows the factory intake, while allowing the car to breathe and perform to its greatest potential. This intake utilizes both the factory seal and air scoop, but offers a larger intake opening and massive air filter. It is offered with either the Pro 5R Oiled Media or the Pro Dry S Oil-Free Media air filters. These filters feature an integrated velocity stack, speeding up the air going into the engine, as well as an alternative auxiliary air input for additional flow to the inverted top of the air filter. It is a quick and easy install, and uses OE mounting locations.

A custom CAD designed roto-molded housing made from heat soak resistant material eliminates the use of multiple components and ensures the coolest air intake charge available. The roto-molded housing is made out of black cross-linked polyethylene. (US PAT 9440175)

This system uses a high quality plastic CAD designed, dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit.

This intake system utilizes a pre-oiled, large, 7-1/2" tall conical inverted top 360 degree radial flow performance air filter with 5-layers of progressive finer mesh cotton media providing maximum airflow and performance.

All clamps and hardware are included for hassle-free installation. This is a direct bolt-on kit that requires no cutting or drilling on factory parts.
